Al Yamamah Steel Industries has signed two one-year contracts with Algihaz Contracting worth about SAR254.3m (US$67.8m) to supply steel towers for 380kV transmission lines in western Saudi Arabia.

The separate contracts are valued at SAR135.65m and SAR118.63m. Al Yamamah said both awards and contract signings were completed on 5 October 2026.

Supply is scheduled to begin in March 2027, with the financial impact expected to start in the first quarter of 2027.

The underlying projects involve 380kV ultra-high-voltage transmission lines in the Western Region. The project owner, exact line locations, tower quantities and tender references were not disclosed in the public announcements.

Al Yamamah said there are no related parties to either transaction.

The contracts move a material package of transmission-tower procurement into execution, with deliveries scheduled over the following year.
