Diriyah Company has awarded two construction contracts worth a combined SAR2.729bn (about US$728m) for hospitality and residential assets in Diriyah Square.
A joint venture between MAN Enterprise Al Saudia and Al Majal Al Arabi has secured a contract reported at SAR1.324bn.
Urbacon Saudi S.P.C. has been awarded a contract reported at SAR1.406bn. The two awards cover 413 hotel rooms and 34 branded residential units in total.
The contracted works include façades, blockwork and construction, interior fit-out, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and external works.
Both contractors have previously delivered work for Diriyah Company. The new awards cover hospitality and residential construction in Diriyah Square.
The packages will require coordinated delivery across structural, façade, fit-out, MEP and external-works scopes under the main construction contracts.
