PDO launches 274-well drilling programme with Weatherford

Petroleum Development Oman has awarded Weatherford a three-year integrated drilling services contract covering 274 oil-production and water-injection wells in the Marmul and Greater Saqr areas. The contract value has not been disclosed, but the scale and duration of the programme could generate continuing demand across the upstream supply chain.
