GCC Tender News is committed to accurate, independent, and transparent reporting on government procurement and major project developments across the Gulf. This page sets out the standards we apply to our editorial work and the processes we follow when things go wrong.

Accuracy

We verify all material facts before publication against at least one primary or authoritative secondary source. Where figures, dates, or project details are derived from a single source, we note this clearly. We do not extrapolate, estimate, or present speculation as fact.

Procurement markets move quickly. Tender values, award decisions, project scopes, and submission deadlines can change after we publish. Where we become aware of material changes to a previously published story, we update the article and note the amendment.

Independence

GCC Tender News maintains strict editorial independence from its commercial relationships. Our editorial coverage is never influenced by advertising, sponsorship, subscription revenue, or any other commercial consideration. We do not accept payments — in any form — in exchange for editorial coverage, favourable mentions, or the suppression of negative information.

We do not have equity stakes, commercial relationships, or financial interests in any of the companies, projects, or government entities we cover.

Transparency

We identify our sources wherever possible. Where a source has requested anonymity, we will note that the information came from a source we could not name publicly, and explain why. We do not fabricate or composite sources.

GCC Tender News is published by Ventana Gulf, based in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Our ownership, funding model, and editorial contacts are publicly disclosed on our About and Editorial Team pages.

Corrections Policy

We take factual errors seriously and correct them promptly and transparently. Our corrections process is as follows:

  • How to request a correction: Email ananeesh@ventanagulf.com with the subject line “Correction Request.” Include the article URL, the specific error, and any supporting evidence.
  • Our response time: We will acknowledge all correction requests within one business day and complete our review within two business days.
  • How we correct: Where an error is confirmed, we correct the article text and add a correction note at the bottom of the page stating what was changed and when. We do not silently amend or delete articles.
  • Disputed corrections: Where we disagree with a correction request, we will explain our reasoning to the person who submitted it. We will always consider new evidence.

Complaints Process

If you have a complaint about our editorial content that goes beyond a factual correction — including concerns about fairness, accuracy, or our editorial standards — please contact us at ananeesh@ventanagulf.com with the subject line “Editorial Complaint.”

We will acknowledge your complaint within two business days and provide a substantive response within five business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant press standards body in your jurisdiction.

Advertising and Sponsored Content

GCC Tender News is funded through reader subscriptions. We do not currently carry display advertising. Any future commercial partnerships or sponsored content will be clearly and prominently labelled as such and will be kept entirely separate from our independent editorial content.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

GCC Tender News may use AI-assisted tools to support research, summarisation, and drafting. All content published on this site is reviewed, verified, and approved by a human editor before publication. We do not publish AI-generated content without human oversight and editorial judgement applied to every article.
