Kuwait Investment Authority starts Entertainment City phase three and asks to enlarge the site
The Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) has started phase three of the Entertainment City redevelopment project, Al-Qabas reported on 6 November 2026. According to a letter from KIA’s acting executive director, Huda Al-Mousa, to Kuwait Municipality, this phase covers developing the project’s master plan, preparing specialised technical, commercial and financial studies and drafting the final investment framework, ahead of completing the procedures needed to proceed with implementation.
In the same letter, KIA asked the Municipality what approvals are needed to enlarge the project site by adding the adjacent land on the street side and the waterfront, and to set the approved coordinates. No timetable, value or investor tender date was given.
What to watch: the Municipality’s response on the enlarged site, then the final investment framework and any investor tender.
Scope: pipeline milestone, not an open invitation to bid.
