SLB discloses five-year PDO fracturing award for Oman Block 6
Petroleum Development Oman has awarded SLB a five-year contract for integrated fracturing services in the oil and gas fields of onshore Block 6 in Oman. SLB disclosed the award in its third-quarter results on 23 October 2026.
The scope covers stimulation, well intervention, automation of fracturing operations and digital technologies.
The contract value and actual award date were not disclosed. SLB’s announcement did not specify a mobilisation date or a procurement route for suppliers seeking work under the contract.
