SLB discloses five-year KOC reservoir-characterisation contract
Kuwait Oil Company has awarded SLB a five-year contract for reservoir-characterisation technologies and specialist services for unconventional reservoirs in Kuwait. SLB disclosed the award in its third-quarter results on 23 October 2026.
The scope includes deep transient testing, autonomous logging and reservoir surveillance using SLB’s Ora, OnWave and Reveal technologies. These will be combined with other subsurface, conveyance and digital technologies for formation evaluation.
The contract value and actual award date were not disclosed. The announcement did not specify a start date, identify individual field packages or establish an open procurement opportunity for other suppliers.
