Saudi Top reports start of West Coast plant operations

Saudi Top Trading has started commercial operations at its West Coast subsidiary’s plant in Petro Rabigh Plastic Tech Park, Argaam reported on 21 October 2026, citing the company’s stock-exchange statement.

The 50,000-square-metre facility produces woven polypropylene fabrics and plastic yarns for bags, alongside PET pellets and plastic pallets. The company expects the current phase to generate annual sales of approximately SAR40 million to SAR50 million.

The development is an operating milestone rather than a new construction award. A SAR100 million estimate and 50,000-tonne annual capacity mentioned in the report relate to a December 2022 memorandum of understanding, not a newly announced contract. The exact start-of-operations date was not specified.
