Saudi technology conference produces $2.23bn of data-centre commitments
Three large digital-infrastructure commitments announced during LEAP 2026 have added more than $2.23bn to Saudi Arabia’s prospective data-centre and cloud-investment pipeline.
Al Moammar Information Systems announced a $1.2bn programme intended to expand its Saudi data-centre operations to a total capacity of 192MW. A detailed construction schedule and the division of investment among individual sites were not disclosed.
NHC Innovation separately outlined a $880m, or approximately SAR3.3bn, phased data-centre development at Khuzam Digital Valley. The project is designed to reach as much as 65MW by 2033, with Naver Innovation and BytePlus named as initial anchor customers.
Mobily and BytePlus also announced an investment exceeding $150m to establish and localise BytePlus cloud services in the kingdom. Capacity, locations and delivery dates were not confirmed in the announcement.
The programmes point to future requirements spanning high-voltage connections, cooling and power-management equipment, data halls, fibre connectivity and specialised engineering. The MIS and Khuzam programmes are the clearest physical-project opportunities, although individual construction packages have not yet been announced.
