Dhofar and Iraqi partner plan Raysut oncology-drug factory

Dhofar Pharmaceutical Industries Company and Iraqi Hydrogen Oncology Pharmaceuticals have agreed a partnership to establish a specialised oncology-drug factory in Raysut Industrial City, in Oman’s Dhofar governorate.

Oman’s Ministry of Health disclosed the agreement on 11 October as part of its account of national participation at CPHI Milan 2026. The announcement does not specify when the factory partnership was signed.

The ministry did not disclose the proposed investment, production capacity, construction programme or commissioning date. No building contractor, equipment supplier or project-specific tender was identified.

The factory partnership was one of four agreements and memoranda of understanding reported during Oman’s participation. Separately, Dhofar signed a memorandum of understanding with Felix Pharmaceuticals concerning industrial integration and the use of existing production capacity.

The Raysut announcement establishes a partnership-stage manufacturing project. The next material disclosures would be an agreed plant scope, investment decision and delivery programme. Any future construction or equipment procurement would need confirmation through a separate project announcement or tender notice.
