QatarEnergy extends Dukhan upgrade bidding period

QatarEnergy has extended the bid-submission period for an engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning contract at the Dukhan field, Qatar’s only producing onshore oilfield.

The contract forms part of the Dukhan Production Facilities Upgrade programme and covers work on 56 oil manifolds and 108 gas-lift manifold slots. The project is intended to modernise operating infrastructure across the mature field.

An earlier public tender listing identified the package as Dukhan Production Facilities Upgrade Phase 1B, Part 2, under reference GT26103300. Its previous closing date was 26 July 2026.

MEED reported the extension on 26 August but the accessible notice did not disclose the revised closing date. Prospective bidders should obtain the new deadline directly from QatarEnergy’s tender system rather than relying on the superseded date.

The package should be relevant to established oilfield EPC contractors, instrumentation companies, manifold and valve suppliers, pipeline specialists and businesses registered to work with QatarEnergy.
