Oman’s Nama Water Services has launched new international tenders covering water and wastewater infrastructure, creating fresh opportunities for both Omani and international contractors.
Among the latest opportunities is a tender for the construction of a treated-effluent transmission pipeline from Seeb to Barka, floated on 19 August 2026. Nama Water Services explicitly states that the competition is open to qualified local companies and international companies specialised in the required works.
Tender documents are available until 27 August, while bids are scheduled to close on 21 September 2026.
Nama has also released new tenders for decentralised sewage treatment plants and the design and construction of the Al Musannah treated-effluent line, both floated on 23 August and also open to specialist international companies.
The projects add to Oman’s expanding water and wastewater infrastructure programme, which includes distribution networks, transmission pipelines, reservoirs, sewage-treatment facilities and associated pumping and utility systems.
For international water-sector contractors, the latest tenders are particularly notable because the procurement documents expressly permit participation by international companies with appropriate experience.
