NMC sets out AED150m Abu Dhabi facilities programme
NMC Healthcare has outlined an AED150 million programme spanning new clinics and upgrades to its Abu Dhabi hospitals, according to reports published by Gulf News and TradeArabia on 21 October 2026.
The next phase centres on a five-year redevelopment of Royal Hospital Khalifa City. Plans include more than 20 additional inpatient beds, 20 outpatient consultation and treatment rooms, and an enlarged emergency department with over 40 treatment bays.
The programme also includes an urgent-care centre at NMC Royal Hospital Abu Dhabi. Other elements are already complete, including clinics in Al Riyad City and Yas Mall, the Mowj child-development complex and a day-care centre at NMC Specialty Hospital Abu Dhabi.
The announced investment covers the wider programme, not a single construction contract. The reports do not identify contractors, tender dates or individual package budgets.
