Mubadala Bio and Lilly agree Abu Dhabi packaging collaboration

Mubadala Bio and Eli Lilly announced a collaboration for local packaging and logistics of Lilly’s GLP-1 medicines in Abu Dhabi on 20 October 2026, according to Abu Dhabi Media Office.

The activities will be supported from a 125,000-square-metre KEZAD site containing packaging and warehousing facilities. Rollout will be phased and subject to technical, quality and regulatory requirements.

The announcement does not disclose a contract value, phased delivery timetable or construction procurement package. Its stated scope is packaging and logistics, rather than a confirmed new medicine-production plant.
