TradeArabia reports MRC plastic-waste agreement with Equate

TradeArabia reported on 21 October 2026 that Kuwait’s Metal and Recycling Company had signed an agreement to manage and recycle plastic waste from Equate Petrochemical Company’s industrial operations.

The arrangement includes 20 collection containers at Equate facilities. Waste would be moved periodically to MRC sites for sorting, processing and recycling.

GCC Tender News has not independently confirmed the agreement against an original company or exchange announcement. Its value, duration and signing date were not given in the report.

The scope is an industrial waste-management service. MRC’s separate Mina Abdullah Eco-Industrial Park development is background context, not a construction package awarded under this agreement.
