Meraas awards nearly AED1bn Nad Al Sheba Gardens contract

UAE government projects 2025

Meraas has awarded GCC Contracting a contract worth nearly AED1bn (about US$272m) to build 272 villas and townhouses in Phase 7 of Nad Al Sheba Gardens in Dubai, with completion targeted for the second quarter of 2028.

The scope covers 130 villas with four to seven bedrooms and 142 three-bedroom townhouses. It also includes pool houses, essential utilities and supporting infrastructure across the phase.

Construction has started, according to Meraas. The award moves the residential phase into main delivery and establishes a programme running through Q2 2028.

Nad Al Sheba Gardens is being developed as a gated residential community with green spaces, sports and leisure facilities, schools and retail amenities. The Phase 7 contract adds a substantial package of housing and associated infrastructure to the active construction pipeline.
