Full story and sources
Dubai developer Meraas has awarded Parkway International Contracting a main construction contract worth more than AED590m ($161m) for the next stage of its City Walk Crestlane residential development.
The contract covers 394 apartments across four residential buildings forming Phase 3 of the project. Construction has already started and completion is targeted for the third quarter of 2028.
City Walk Crestlane is being developed as an extension of the existing City Walk district in central Dubai, combining residential buildings with landscaped public areas and water features.
The wider community includes swimming pools, sports and fitness facilities, a clubhouse and outdoor cinema, alongside the retail, restaurant and leisure facilities already established at City Walk.
For the construction market, the award moves another substantial Dubai residential package into active delivery and is likely to support downstream demand for building materials, MEP systems, fit-out services and specialist subcontracting.
