MEED reports SAR923m Riyadh steel-bridges award to Mofarreh–Gulsan venture

MEED reported on 16 October 2026 that a joint venture of Saudi Arabia’s Mofarreh Group and Turkey’s Gulsan Holding had secured a steel-bridges package for the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, with an estimated value of SAR923 million.

According to the report, Package 2, Groups 2 and 3 covers seven grade-separated interchanges and has a 12-month delivery period. The scope includes structural steel, foundations, decks and approaches, alongside associated utilities, drainage, lighting and intelligent transport systems.

The reported works form a specific roads package rather than an award for the whole of Riyadh’s wider transport programme. The estimated figure should not be read as an independently verified final contract price.

An accessible original announcement from RCRC or the joint venture confirming the award, value and award date has not been located. This item records MEED’s report in Market Watch and does not enter the verified Contract Awards dashboard. The next check is an original client or contractor disclosure.
