Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission & Distribution business has secured new EPC orders covering 380kV transmission and substations in Saudi Arabia and 132/11kV substations with associated cabling in the United Arab Emirates.
In Saudi Arabia, the company said the new orders span 380kV transmission-line and substation segments intended to expand grid capacity and support the evacuation of renewable power.
The UAE scope covers 132/11kV substations and associated cabling works. L&T did not disclose the project owners, individual locations, delivery schedules or GCC package values.
The GCC orders form part of a wider multi-country award that also includes work in India. L&T classified the combined order intake as “Mega”, but the company did not provide values for the Saudi and UAE packages separately.
The awards move the relevant transmission and distribution infrastructure into EPC execution. Tender references and detailed package quantities were not disclosed.
