Royal Development Holding and SAAS Properties have awarded Fibrex LLC an AED790m (US$215m) main construction contract for Seamont Autograph Collection Residences on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.
The award moves the waterfront development from completed enabling works into full-scale construction. Fibrex is scheduled to begin the main works in October 2026.
The contractor will deliver the project under a 27-month programme, with completion targeted for December 2028. The twin-tower scheme is planned to contain 497 branded residences, including apartments, duplexes and penthouses.
Seamont is being developed by Royal Development Holding, a subsidiary of Emirates Stallion Group, in partnership with SAAS Properties. The development forms part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection residential portfolio.
The main works award creates near-term demand for structural, façade, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, interior-fit-out, vertical-transport, landscaping and specialist residential packages as mobilisation progresses.
