Expo 2030 Riyadh signs SAR3.2bn joint venture for Expo Village

Expo 2030 Riyadh Company and Mohammed Al Habib Real Estate Company have signed a SAR3.2 billion ($853 million) joint-venture agreement to develop and deliver Expo Village in Riyadh.
The residential development will accommodate participating countries’ delegations and personnel during Expo 2030. Its longer-term role is expected to extend beyond the event as part of the site’s Global Village legacy development. Expo 2030 is scheduled to run from October 2030 to March 2031, with more than 42 million visits anticipated.
Why it matters: The joint venture marks a major delivery milestone and should generate downstream packages for construction, building systems, utilities, landscaping, fit-out, smart-city technology, facilities management and hospitality-related services. International companies should monitor vendor-registration and subcontracting opportunities with Expo 2030 Riyadh and Mohammed Al Habib Real Estate Company.
The development represents a new commercially significant commitment and is not merely a repeat of earlier Expo site announcements. Arab News and the official Expo 2030 Riyadh portal support the project context.
