East Pipes signs $206mn Saudi Aramco supply contract

East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry has signed a contract worth more than SAR771mn ($205.6mn), including value-added tax, to supply steel pipes to Saudi Aramco.

The agreement was signed on 20 September, making it a new procurement milestone rather than a subsequent report of an older award. East Pipes said the supply programme would run for six months.

The company did not identify the individual Aramco projects that will receive the pipes or publish delivery quantities and technical specifications. The brief execution period nevertheless points to an established project requirement rather than an early-stage framework arrangement.

East Pipes expects the contract to affect its financial results during the fourth quarter of its 2026–27 financial year and the first quarter of 2027–28. It reported no related parties in the transaction.

For companies serving the pipeline market, the order indicates near-term demand for steel inputs, coatings, inspection, testing, transport and site-delivery services. Firms considering the associated opportunities would still need to establish whether individual subcontracts or purchase orders are accessible to outside suppliers.
