Dubai Municipality has issued three new tenders for stormwater and sewerage infrastructure serving Hind City, Dubailand and surrounding areas, adding to the growing pipeline of projects being delivered under Dubai’s Tasreef drainage programme.
The tenders, which are currently open, have a submission deadline of 10 September 2026. Project values have not been disclosed for this tender round, although comparable packages under the programme have been valued at around $100 million each.
The new contracts form part of Dubai’s wider Tasreef programme, a Dh30 billion ($8.2 billion) initiative designed to expand the emirate’s stormwater drainage capacity by 700% by 2033. The programme is being implemented through a series of major construction, rehabilitation and network-expansion packages across Dubai.
Recent awards demonstrate the scale of the programme. In July, Dubai Municipality awarded the TF-15-C1 stormwater package to DeTech Contracting, with the project estimated at approximately $100 million. Another package, TF-15-C2, was awarded to China State Construction Engineering Corporation and is estimated at $162 million, including around 20 kilometres of new stormwater pipelines.
The latest Hind City and Dubailand tenders are expected to attract contractors specialising in stormwater drainage, sewerage networks, pipelines, underground infrastructure, pumping stations and civil engineering works. The programme has previously attracted both UAE-based companies and major international contractors, including China State Construction Engineering Corporation.
The continued release of individual packages provides a steady procurement pipeline for contractors, engineering consultants, equipment suppliers and specialist infrastructure companies as Dubai expands and modernises its drainage network.
