CAPT re-reviews KWD13.98m Al-Mutla fuel stations award to First Group, Al-Rai reports

Kuwait’s Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) is re-examining the proposed award of a Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) tender to build, supply, install, complete and operate 10 fuel stations in Al-Mutla City, Al-Rai reported on 1 November 2026. The proposed contractor is First Group for General Trading & Contracting, which submitted the lowest prices.

The proposed award value is now KWD13.978m, revised from KWD13.988m. At its meeting No. 90 of 2026, after hearing a Ministry of Oil representative, the CAPT board authorised the client to rebalance the prices of the compliant bids under Article 60 of Public Tenders Law No. 49 of 2016 and to submit a recommendation.

The award is not final. No tender number or other bidders were published.
