Bahrain commissions Al Ramli electricity transmission substations

Bahrain has inaugurated new electricity transmission substations serving the Al Ramli district, marking the completion of another component of the kingdom’s power-infrastructure programme.

The inauguration was among the principal infrastructure developments reported by Bahrain’s official news coverage over the past 24 hours.

The substations strengthen electricity transmission infrastructure supporting Al Ramli and surrounding development areas as Bahrain continues to expand and reinforce its power network in response to urban growth.

For the project market, the commissioning itself closes the main construction phase, but the asset becomes relevant to the continuing market for transmission equipment maintenance, protection systems, switchgear, transformers, controls and associated network expansion.

I would publish this as a short Project Update, not give it the same prominence as the first three stories. I have not found a sufficiently reliable current disclosure of the project value to attach a dollar figure.
