Aramco studies crude-export routes and works to expand overseas storage
Saudi Aramco is studying additional crude-export routes in coordination with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy and is working to expand overseas storage, chief executive Amin Nasser said on 12 October.
Nasser outlined the work in a speech at the 25th WPC Energy Conference in Riyadh. He placed the initiatives within Aramco’s wider efforts to strengthen the resilience of its facilities, export network and digital systems.
The speech did not identify proposed routes, storage locations, project values, contractors or procurement dates. No timetable was disclosed for moving the export-route studies forward, and the procurement or construction stage of the overseas-storage expansion was not specified.
