Abu Dhabi presents infrastructure pipeline exceeding $56bn

The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre will present an infrastructure opportunity valued at more than US$56bn to international investors and delivery companies during an investment roadshow in Munich.

The roadshow will take place at Expo Real from 5 to 7 October. The Abu Dhabi delegation will include the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and Abu Dhabi Investment Office, together with Aldar, Bloom Holding, LEAD Development, Modon and Trojan Construction.

Live projects and development priorities will be presented across housing, transport, culture, education and social infrastructure. The programme is intended to connect these priorities with international capital, construction expertise and technology providers.

The centre is particularly seeking capabilities in advanced engineering, industrialised and modular construction, building materials, technical services and long-term asset management. Digital twins, artificial intelligence, data-led project delivery and smart infrastructure will also form part of the discussions.

The announcement is a market-engagement initiative rather than a tender notice, and individual project values, procurement timetables and participation requirements have not yet been disclosed. Nevertheless, the roadshow provides an early route into Abu Dhabi’s future PPP and capital-project pipeline for international developers, contractors, financiers and specialist technology businesses.
